Call #1: Show and Tell in a Scene

VIDEO

1st GROUP CALL OF THE MONTH

We came together for the 1st group call of the month.

We started with our metaphor check ins on our writing -- a word or phrase to express how you're feeling about your writing or editing or marketing, or a combination of these.

Then we took the time to answer any questions you had -- about anything. We discussed promotions and shared celebrations.

** NEW!* One person gets to be in the hot seat for feedback/editing/critique.

We can focus on a piece of writing (up to 250 words), or marketing (like a branding message) or tweets for a campaign or a marketing plan/campaign) or anything else.

Perfect for doing an in-depth edit of a page of your manuscript!

First come first serve. We'll spend 20 minutes on you!

To claim your spot, just email be at [email protected] with your material by day before the call by 9pm PT.

Trent was in the Hot Seat in this call. We edited the first page of his novel together.

TOPIC: Editing for Show vs Tell at the Scene Level

-- What challenges do you have about showing vs telling?
-- Do you know when to show and when to tell?
-- Can you identify when your scenes start and stop?

**What other questions do you have on this topic that we didn't answer in the call. Post them in the group.
